PBR material studio
Roughness, metalness, clearcoat and the lighting that sells them.
What this is
A grid of the same shape under one material, driven by live sliders. Change the environment and watch which finishes survive it — the reason merchandising and engineering argue.
Every configurator argument about colour is really an argument about lighting. This demo separates the two: fix the material, change the environment, and see how much of 'the product looks wrong' is a light rig problem. Then fix the environment and sweep roughness to find the range where a finish reads as premium.
Things worth trying
- Set metalness to 1 and sweep roughness from 0 to 1
- Switch environment to Factory floor and re-judge the same material
- Compare the fabric and metal presets under Night lighting

Bring us the product you were told could not be configured.
Tell us the option count, the CAD you already have and the frame budget you need to hit. An engineer reads it and replies with a straight answer — including when the answer is that good photography would serve you better.
We reply to every enquiry within one business day, in your timezone — with a frame budget, not a brochure.
