Pricing

Numbers, not a form

Eleven of the twenty platforms we reviewed put pricing behind a demo request. Here are the bands, in your currency, what drives them, and a calculator honest enough to tell you not to buy.

Put your own numbers in

Every assumption is editable, because every one of them is arguable. Enter figures where the investment does not pay and it will say so — that is the point of publishing it.

Your numbers

Everything here is editable, including the assumptions — because every one of them is arguable and you should be able to see what happens when you disagree with us.

This pays back quickly At these numbers the investment returns itself in about 1 months. The dominant line is usually the one you were least expecting — check which one it is before you build the business case on it.

This calculator will tell you the investment does not pay back if you enter numbers where it does not. Categories with low AOV, low return rates and few variants are usually better served by good photography — we will say so on the call.

Engagements

How projects usually start

Feasibility Sprint

2 weeks

Fixed price

We take one real product — your worst CAD assembly, not the easy one — through the whole pipeline and put it on a phone. You get the frame budget, the honest triangle count and a go / no-go.

Configurator Launch

8–14 weeks

From $85,000

A production configurator on your storefront: rules, pricing, BOM emission, AR, analytics and the CMS handover so your team owns it afterwards.

Capture Programme

4–10 weeks

Per site

Drone and terrestrial capture of a site or plant, registered to survey accuracy, published as a streamable cloud and a clean mesh for downstream use.

Twin Rollout

12–20 weeks

From $150,000

A live digital twin of one line or plant, wired to your existing OPC-UA / MQTT infrastructure, with the what-if layout model your ops team will actually use.

Questions

The ones that come up every time

Why is setup a large one-off?

Because the rule graph and the asset pipeline are the expensive parts and they are built once. If a vendor quotes a low setup and a high monthly, ask what happens to the rules — usually the answer is that they stay in the vendor's head.

What happens if we leave?

You export. The assets are glTF, the rule graph is JSON in your git repository, and the application source is yours from day one. We would rather you stayed because it works.

Do you charge per render?

Only above the plan allowance, at $0.10 an image. Cached variants that have already been rendered do not re-bill.

Can we self-host?

On the Industrial plan, yes — including fully air-gapped. On Launch and Scale the pipeline runs on our infrastructure, which is what keeps those prices where they are.

What is not included?

Physical sample photography for material capture, third-party licences (CAD kernels where required), and connectivity work inside your plant network. We quote those separately rather than burying them.

Is there really a fixed-price way to test this?

Yes — the Feasibility Sprint — a fixed fee, two weeks, your hardest product. It ends in a go or a no-go, and we have recommended no-go often enough that it is a real option.

Not sure which plan, or whether any of them?

Tell us the catalogue size, the option count and the systems it has to talk to. We will point at a plan, or tell you that photography and a good 2D page would serve you better.

We reply to every enquiry within one business day, in your timezone — with a frame budget, not a brochure.
