The same product, eight different builds
A configurator is not portable the way a website is. The commerce platform it mounts into, the AR channel that reaches customers, whether the drawing is in millimetres or feet, and which regulation makes keyboard operability mandatory — all of it changes by market, and all of it changes the estimate.

The largest 3D-commerce market and the most crowded. Buyers here have usually seen three configurator demos before yours and will ask about Core Web Vitals in the first call.
Commerce platforms that matter here
The configurator has to mount into whichever of these you run — and they do not all let you price a configuration. See the integration explorer.
AR reach
AR Quick Look and Scene Viewer both have near-universal reach. WebXR on Quest is a genuine third channel.
Units & dimensioning
Imperial by default in retail and construction; engineering runs metric. A configurator that cannot show both will be rejected on the first review.
Standards you will be asked about
- ANSI / ASME drawing conventions
- ADA clearance requirements for fixtures
- IES lighting files for luminaires
Privacy & data regime
Sales tax varies by state and is added at invoice. A configurator collects configuration state, and in most of these regimes that is personal data the moment it is tied to an account or an order.
Regulatory and standards notes are a starting point for a conversation with your own counsel, not legal advice. They change, and they change faster than this page does.

Delivery is one team across timezones, not eight independent studios. The studio and capture lab are in Ahmedabad; sales and solutions sit closest to you. Partner-led markets mean a local firm fronts the engagement and we build.
What travels and what does not
Three things that do not port
The cart
Shopify dominates North America, Shopware and commercetools dominate Germany, Rakuten and Yahoo! Shopping matter as much as a brand's own store in Japan, and in China the surface is a WeChat Mini Program — which is not a browser and will not simply load your WebGL bundle. The 3D is the portable part. The cart is not.
The units
"Metric" is not one answer. Canada is metric and quotes millwork in inches. Japanese interiors are still laid out on a 910 mm module inherited from tatami sizing, which will break a room planner that assumes a free grid. A configurator that cannot show both systems gets rejected at the first review in the US, every time.
The obligations
The European Accessibility Act turned keyboard-operable configurators into a compliance question rather than a preference — which is why every scene on this site is paired with real DOM controls. PIPL restricts moving personal data out of mainland China. Quebec's Law 25 brings French-language obligations. None of these are edge cases.
Currency
About the prices on this site
Every figure stored on this site is in US dollars and converted for the market you have selected, at a rate fixed when the page was built. That is deliberate and it has a limitation worth stating plainly: these are not live exchange rates, and nothing here is a quotation. They exist so a buyer in Sydney or Tokyo can size a budget without opening a converter.
Real contracts are quoted in the local currency at the rate on the day, with local tax handled at invoice. Theservices market map is wider still — its bands span offshore and onshore delivery, which genuinely differ by three to five times for the same scope. That spread is the point of publishing them.
Selling into more than one of these?
Tell us which markets and which platforms. The first thing worth knowing is usually which parts you can build once and which you cannot — and that answer is free.
We reply to every enquiry within one business day, in your timezone — with a frame budget, not a brochure.
