Reality capture
Gaussian splat showroom
What a captured room looks like when you stop pretending it is a mesh.
What this is
A splat-style reconstruction of a retail showroom — soft, photographic, and completely unmeshable. Toggle between splat and wireframe-mesh interpretation of the same capture.
Real 3D Gaussian splatting stores millions of oriented ellipsoids with spherical-harmonic colour. This demo approximates the look with view-facing sprites so it runs anywhere, and makes the honest point: splats are gorgeous backdrops and terrible geometry. You cannot measure them, collide with them, or configure them — so we composite configurable meshes into a splat environment.
Things worth trying
- Compare splat mode against the mesh reconstruction of the same scan
- Note that thin structures survive in splats and vanish in the mesh
- Turn off view-facing and watch the illusion collapse
Bring us the product you were told could not be configured.
Tell us the option count, the CAD you already have and the frame budget you need to hit. An engineer reads it and replies with a straight answer — including when the answer is that good photography would serve you better.
We reply to every enquiry within one business day, in your timezone — with a frame budget, not a brochure.
