The challenge

Quarterly walk-through inspection of a 90 MW field meant string faults could run for eleven weeks before detection. Each undetected string is measurable lost revenue, and the inspection itself took two people four days.

How we approached it

Monthly radiometric thermal flights with RTK positioning, processed into a defect map tied to the string layout in their asset register. Defects arrive as work orders, not as a PDF of thermal images.
