Pickers walked an average of 14 km per shift and AMRs deadlocked at two crossings daily. Slotting was optimised in the WMS against a location map that had drifted from the physical racking after two reconfigurations.
Scan the racking as-built, reconcile against the WMS map — 340 discrepancies — then replay six months of order lines through the corrected model to test slotting scenarios before implementing any of them.
